sos_problemsFailure is not final. It’s not a fortune cookie quote. It’s truth. We all fall short of where we want to be.

Great personalities keep working. They learn from their failures & shortfalls. They evaluate the brilliant things and the dumb things they have tried in the past. They use their strengths to overcome their weaknesses and they ask for help!

If you need ideas for your show, if you need help developing a prep/social media strategy, or just another person to bounce ideas off of, let us know how we can help!

Emotion & Heart Connect Best

Written by Scott Herrold. Posted in Uncategorized

Ceci LaBarge from JQ 99 shared this with us:

“My daughter’s 5th grade class (English/Spanish school) was very close with their teacher who was supposed to get married 2 weekends ago. Her fiance called off the wedding shortly after school ended, but her whole family was coming to town anyway so they turned what was supposed to be her wedding weekend into a family reunion. Her out-of-town uncle was then involved in a tragic car accident where he lost his life and now the teacher’s 5 year old cousin is currently fighting for her life. The students prayed about how they could encourage their teacher, even though it was the summer, and they came up with this video.”  Watch it all the way to the end!

We’re Using Social Wrong…

Written by Scott Herrold. Posted in Uncategorized

Social media can drive people away from listening to your radio show or it can bring people to it.

Rather than using your radio show to constantly tell listeners to “go over to facebook and LIKE my page,” spend more of your energy thinking about ways to engage people who are already using Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest and bring them to your show.

People don’t use social media to interact with brands, they use social media to be social. They’re looking for conversation, for fun and for an introduction to people they would like to get to know better. Keep that in mind as you set out your strategy for using social media. There’s a huge opportunity on social media to bring listeners back to your show, but you have to develop a strategy that actually drives people to listen. (Here’s how to do that! Click here!)
